The Feng Shui Of Your Entry

The Complete Soulful Home
The entry is the primary way energy enters your home.. The entry to your home inside and outside is a crucial area in your home. This is the entry to your life where everything flows to you. Opportunities, good fortune, health, income, relationships, and recognition. It is the mouth of chi, energy, the energetic face of your home. Your front door shows the world what is important to you. Make it reflect your highest self.
The main entrance to your home represents the image we present to the world and can also indicate the view we have of ourselves. It mirrors our approach to life. Ideally there should be an open space in front of the entrance where chi, energy can gather.
When we return to our home, we need to enter our space through a pleasant environment. Make every effort to enter through the front door as that is the primary way energy enters the home. Large objects such as trees or poles directly in line with the front door create “poison arrow” of chi at the house. Fences and hedges restricting our view of the house may cause us to feel depressed, closed in.
As we enter our homes the entryway likewise should be open and welcoming. A Restricted, dark space in the entry will create obstacles and depression in our world. Adding a mirror will help to open the space along with light colored walls and good lighting. Make sure your door can open widely for the full expanse of energy to enter. Essentially a cramped entry will create physical and emotional stress along with minimizing and restraining opportunity that does come into your life.
Opening your entry opens yourself…makes sense doesn’t it! Feng Shui is really very simplistic.
