Ah April...it's transformation time!
This months Issue Soul Life Times chose to feature Russell Simmons because of his passion for taking meditation mainstream. More specifically Russell's motivation is to bring meditation to the a younger generation, into the schools and into the 'hood' as he says. Imagine our world when a generation comes from a place on inner guidance and source as opposed to a disconnect from their soul and true purpose in life. When we're disconnected from our source we are forever searching for our true identity, our true essence. We fill the void with addictions of all kind. Anything that will make us feel something. All around us other people are creating our identity for us and we believe that is who we truly are.
Andrea Adler's article The Prison of the Mind is timely as it reveals how kids grow up in such impossible circumstances that their world encompasses, not if but when they end up in prison. Andrea talks about her spirit lead path that took her to a place in NYC where a group had formed for the former incarcerated. Through her coaching she is helping them to experience that place within them that leads to their true being.
Change takes awareness and we are all being called in some capacity to bring our awareness to bigger plane of transformation for the world.
The new Spring energy of April is bringing the gift of transformation. Yes the work we have been doing of releasing lower vibrating behaviors and ways of being are awakening and opening us to be more in the true flow with Source energy. We are being asked to leave behind all the things that will no longer serve us nor match the frequency in this higher vibrating energy. The purpose is to help us live a more authentic, joyful life. To help us clean out our closet, a lot of letting go and releasing. Where in our lives are we stuck, not happy, going through the motions?
The other side of doing the work with the transforming energy will be our true being that is able to play in a higher dimension of co-creating with the universe where the magic comes from being in 'the now'. How cool is that...living in joy, ease, and an effortless way of being. WooHooo! When we truly learn to surrender we will arrive.
Much Love & Gratitude
