Is how we are feeding our body feeding our soul? Mind wellness brings wellness. Well being is to be in the moment of wellness. Creating partnership with our bodies, listening on a cellular level. Ask your body what it wants to eat.
So let’s look at the Kitchen of our Lives…
The Kitchen and dining areas form the heart of a family, because this is where we come together for food and drink. The kitchen holds clues to a person’s lifestyle. As the health center of our life, it is important that it function well and supports us.
When we eliminate the toxic foods from our diet our thoughts and actions become more positive. We have a more direct line to our intuition. There is a purity there that is allowed to come forth with more clarity. Our intuition is where all our answers from source come from.
The five elements of fire, earth, metal, water, and wood are used in feng shui to balance and create harmony. To create order out of chaos. The element associated with the kitchen is Wood, where wood is added to the fire for cooking.
To create positive chi in the kitchen keep pure white or green bowls of fresh fruit or vegetables on the counter. Keep counters free of clutter, and keep kitchen eating areas free of piles of bills and work papers. Create a kitchen vision board with pictures of healthy foods and body types that you want to create for yourself and put your picture in place of theirs.
Paint colors for kitchens should be white or blue, which promotes weight loss. Yellow for a social atmosphere. Greens are good for digestion, or beige and earth tones. Stay away from red and black, except to use in accents.
The quality of the meals you eat reflect your relationship with work. If you tend to rush through your meal, you will have the same tendency with your work. It is a gift to be able to connect with ourselves as well as family or guests, sustaining food for the body as well as food for thought.
